“Golondaaj is finally set to release in Bangladesh on 19th November 2021"

After receiving a magnanimous response in India, Bengali Superstar Dev’s “Golondaaj” is finally set to release in Bangladesh on 19th November 2021. Presented by SVF and directed by Dhrubo Banerjee, “Golondaaj” is a historic fiction that showcases the larger-than-life story of Nagendra Prasad Sarbadhikari, taking us back to the late 1800s. 


The film would be screened at this this this theatres.The story focuses on his contribution to shaping the Indian Football culture and his heroic win against the Britishers in 1892’s Trades Cup. It marked the first-ever Indian Football Club win of India which paved the extraordinary journey of ‘The Father of Indian Football’. 

Dev gave his career-best performance as Nagendra Prasad Sarbadhikari in “Golondaaj”. The other characters are also played by some of the talented actors of the Bengali film industry which include Anirban Bhattacharya, Ishaa Saha, John Bhattacharya, Alexx O’Nell, Indrashish Roy, and Srikant Acharya. After making every Bengali proud in India, Golondaaj is all ready to win the hearts of the Bangladeshi audience.
